• Mike and Jeanne' Jones: Founders and Directors

We first opened the doors to Heritage House Ministries in 2003 with a vision of giving girls a safe place to feel at home. We have four children of our own, three grandchildren, and have fostered over 30 children in our home prior to establishing Heritage House Ministries. Our passion is bringing hope to kids that feel like they have none.

After spending 6 years in academia, I joined Heritage House in December 2011 with a longing to use the knowledge and tools I had acquired to change lives. However, I quickly realized that no amount of education or experience could prepare me for the challenges of loving on 11 teenage girls. At Heritage House you learn things that cannot be taught in sterile classrooms or within the walls of a church. Instead you run smack into God's reckless pursuit of his beloved children, and you see how his children fight, against all odds, to walk the road of redemption. Heritage House is proof that simple things truly confound the wisdom of this world. And when you choose to partner in God's call to love the fatherless, orphaned, and abandones, that is when you get a glimpse into the miraculous.

I began working at Heritage House at the beginning of 2010 with much excitement and desire to love, grow, and learn all that I can. I am so blessed to have the joy of being invited into the lives of the girls and the staff to walk beside each of them as they figure out who they are and what God has for their futures. I currently reside in the crazy Boulder, CO and when I’m not at work you can find me learning and challenging my limits in outdoor adventures.

Hello! I'm Ash and I joined this crazy adventure in April 2011! It has been one of the greatest joys as well as eye-opening experiences to be a part of this ministry. It really is unlike anything I've ever been a part of! These girls and our team have been the highlight of my days. They have taught me everything from resilience to the latest dance moves to true hope and of course deep laughter. I am so very grateful for the honor and gift that is my "job" but really these girls and our team is better defined as my family!

My name is Lyndi Jones and i have been working at Heritage House since June 2010. I am so blessed to have this opportunity to come alongside this ministry and shine light into these girls lives. It has truly been a joy spending time with both the girls and the wonderful team. My prayer is to show a glimpse of hope and a future to ones that never thought those things were possible. I am currently a junior at CU Boulder and plan on graduating with a Psychology BA degree in Spring 2012.

My name is Michelle and I joined Heritage House in March 2010 as House Manager/House Mom. God had been nudging that way for over a year and I finally listened. It has been a great ride that God has taken me on since then. I get to serve in ministry with my husband, Ray, who helps with many handyman projects around the house. (We are glad to give Mike & Jeanne’ a break.) I basically manage the house and make sure things are handled, organized, bought, straightened, etc. The job never ends! I have also learned many things through the girls at the house. They have taught me to be non-judgmental, love unconditionally and show grace above and beyond. It’s a challenge, but a great one!!

Hello! My name is Monica and I have been working at Heritage House since January 2009. My time at the house and with the girls has been filled with challenges and successes, but overall it has been a true testament to our God's boundless love and grace. I have been blessed to spend time with the girls and team, and can't wait for what is to come!

I joined the Heritage House Team in December of 2011 and have so enjoyed my time working with the girls and our wonderful team. Every day is an adventure at Heritage House and I could not be more blessed to walk beside the girls in this house. It is such an incredible opportunity to be part of the lives of each of the girls we work with. Their resilience is inspiring and I am blessed to learn from them each day. My prayer is that each girl who comes through Heritage House would see their true worth and value and walk boldly into their future with hope and purpose.

I'm Katy and I am extremely blessed to be part of this team. It gives me great hope that places like Heritage House exist; where people faithfully respond to God's call and make a commitment to stand in the gap "for the least of these." These girls are nothing less than precious gifts and it gives me immense joy that I get the opportunity to spend time with them. They have taught me how to dance, given me new insight to music, and have made me laugh deeper than I can remember. I owe them many thanks!
